music (de)composition: music sheet edition

The next step in the music category of this blog consists on writing/editing/encoding/playing with music.
The keywords to find music editor related software are scorewriter, sheet music, score editor, input music language and music score typesetter.
My requirements are the following:
- audio support (at least export into a open format)
- export into a simply reusable format (to perform maths stuff as explained in previous posts in this category)
Right now, I don't care if there is no multitrack support.
I will try lilypond and musescore, the two scorewriter included into mythbuntu.
